Not all paintings require an additional frame. Some canvas paintings are stretched over a wooden stretcher frame and are designed to be hung as they are. Other works, such as paintings on a smaller canvas or watercolor paintings on paper, will require an external frame before they are ready to display.

When viewing a specific piece on our website, please check the Details section of the description. If it says “Ready to hang,” the artwork does not require an additional frame. In that case, it will either be stretched on a substantial canvas frame or already set within an external frame.
